Terms of Service

Effective date: November 1, 2026

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) are a binding agreement between you and the operator of PapersToSheet (“PapersToSheet”, “we”, “us”) governing your use of https://paperstosheet.com and the conversion service offered there (the “Service”). By using the Service you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

IMPORTANT: SECTION 15 CONTAINS A BINDING ARBITRATION AGREEMENT AND CLASS ACTION WAIVER THAT AFFECT HOW DISPUTES ARE RESOLVED.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old (or the age of majority where you live) and able to form a binding contract. If you use the Service for a business, you confirm you are authorized to accept these Terms on its behalf, and “you” includes that business.

2. The Service and accounts

Some features (history and paid plans) require an account. Give us an accurate email address, keep your password confidential and tell us at [email protected] if you suspect unauthorized access. You're responsible for activity under your account. You can delete your account at any time from the account page.

PapersToSheet uses automated artificial-intelligence models to read documents you upload (such as receipts, invoices, packing slips and purchase orders) and convert them into spreadsheet data. We also offer free downloadable spreadsheet templates. We may change, suspend or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.

3. AI output — no professional advice

Extracted data is generated automatically and may be incomplete or inaccurate. You are solely responsible for reviewing every result before relying on it. The Service and our templates are tools only; they are not accounting, bookkeeping, tax, legal or financial advice, and do not create any professional relationship. Consult a qualified professional for those matters.

4. Free use

Visitors may convert up to 1 pages per day free of charge, subject to fair use and rate limits. We may change or withdraw the free allowance at any time.

5. Subscriptions, automatic renewal and cancellation

6. Plans are per account

A plan belongs to the account that bought it (or to which its license key is linked) and is for use by you or your business's personnel. Accounts and license keys may not be resold, published or shared publicly. We may suspend accounts or revoke keys used in violation of these Terms.

7. Your content and history

You keep all rights to documents you upload and the data extracted from them (“Your Content”). You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free license to host, store, transmit and process Your Content solely to provide the Service to you, including keeping your history for up to 90 days when you're signed in. You represent that you have all rights and consents needed to upload Your Content, including any personal information of others it contains.

8. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

We may log usage, rate-limit, suspend or block access (including by IP address) to enforce these rules.

9. Templates and our content

The site, software, design and templates are owned by us or our licensors. You may download and use our templates for your own personal or internal business purposes and modify them freely, but you may not resell or redistribute them as templates.

10. Third-party services

The Service relies on third parties, including AI processing providers, Polar for payments and Cloudflare for delivery. Their services are governed by their own terms, and we are not responsible for them.

11. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service, templates and all output are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, non-infringement, and uninterrupted or error-free operation.

12. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for lost profits, revenue, data, tax penalties or business opportunities, arising from or related to the Service or any output, even if advised of the possibility. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the greater of (a) the amounts you paid us in the 12 months before the claim or (b) US$50.

Some jurisdictions don't allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

13. Indemnification

You will defend, indemnify and hold us harmless from any claims, losses and expenses (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising from Your Content, your use of output, or your breach of these Terms or the law.

14. Termination

You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access at any time if you breach these Terms or create risk or legal exposure for us. Sections 3, 7, 9 and 11–17 survive termination.

15. Dispute resolution — arbitration and class action waiver

Before filing a claim, you agree to contact us at [email protected] and try to resolve the dispute informally for 30 days. If it isn't resolved, any dispute arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service will be resolved by binding individual arbitration administered by the American Arbitration Association under its Consumer Arbitration Rules, rather than in court, except that either party may bring an individual claim in small-claims court. The arbitration may be conducted online or by phone.

You and we each waive the right to a jury trial and to participate in a class action, class arbitration or representative proceeding. You may opt out of this arbitration agreement by emailing [email protected] within 30 days of first accepting these Terms with your name and a statement that you opt out.

16. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, USA, and the Federal Arbitration Act, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Nothing in these Terms limits mandatory consumer protections of the place where you live.

17. General

These Terms, with the Privacy Policy and Refund Policy, are the entire agreement between you and us about the Service. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest remains in effect. Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver. You may not assign these Terms; we may assign them in connection with a merger or sale. We may update these Terms; material changes will be posted here with a new effective date, and continued use after that date means you accept them.
