Tips for using this template
- Give each length its own SKU (2x4x8 vs 2x4x10); counting by species and size alone hides which lengths are actually short.
- Stage incoming units by date and sell the oldest first so stacked lumber doesn't warp or weather.
- Reprice from supplier cost often; commodity lumber prices move fast and stale costs throw off margins.
